1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files a website saves on your device when you visit. Similar technologies, such as local storage, do the same job. They help a site work, remember your settings and give owners information about how it is used. Cookies can be “session” cookies, deleted when you close the browser, or “persistent” cookies, which stay until they expire or you delete them. They can be “first-party” (set by this site) or “third-party” (set by another service).
2. How we use them
- Essential: needed for core features such as signing in, keeping your session, security and checkout. The service cannot work properly without them, so they do not need consent.
- Functionality: remember choices such as your theme and workspace settings.
- Performance and analytics: measure how the site is used so it can be improved. We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If we add them, they will be listed here and set only with your consent where the law requires.
- Advertising: not used.
3. Cookies and storage we use

| Workspace preferences (local storage) | ThumbsGen | Remembers choices such as style or safe-zone toggle in the demo | Until you clear it | Functionality |
| Checkout cookies | Stripe (stripe.com) | Process the payment securely and prevent fraud | Set by Stripe, session to 1 year | Essential (on Stripe pages) |
| Network security cookie | Cloudflare | Protects the site from bots and attacks, where enabled | Up to 30 minutes to 1 year, per Cloudflare | Essential |
[Owner: keep this table in line with what the site really sets. Check your browser's storage panel before launch and add or remove rows.]
4. Third-party cookies
Some pages include services from other companies. When you go to checkout, Stripe sets the cookies it needs to process the payment and prevent fraud. Our network provider may set a security cookie. These companies handle data under their own policies: see Stripe's and Cloudflare's privacy and cookie notices. Links to external sites, such as YouTube or social networks, may set cookies once you open them.
5. Consent
Where the law requires consent for non-essential cookies, we ask before setting them, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Essential cookies are set without consent because they are needed to give you the service you asked for. How data collected through cookies is used is covered by the Privacy Policy.
6. Managing cookies
- Browser settings: most browsers let you block or delete cookies and local storage in their settings (look for “Privacy” or “Site data”). Doing so may reset your theme and workspace settings and sign you out.
- Private browsing: cookies and local storage are cleared when you close the window.
- Third parties: use the controls on the third party's own site or the industry opt-out tools available for your region.
- Blocking all cookies may stop checkout and parts of the workspace from working.
7. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We do not track you across other websites for advertising. Because we do not run cross-site tracking, our behaviour does not change when your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. If that changes, we will honour these signals where the law requires.
8. Changes
We may update this policy when our cookies or the law change. The date at the top shows the latest version. For material changes we will notify you in the product or by email.
